So after Rio, we headed here, to Paraty!! Cool beachside town, with a well maintained historic core too. stayed here for five nights in a great place, where the breakfast was out of this world - for S.America anyway. we got fruit bread, ham, cheese, cake, homemade jams, and yoghurt. Had some good weather here which was a bonus, considering the main things are the beaches and islands. We took our first full day canoeing around the bay, though the weather was really cloudy. Still a great trip, but would have been better if the weather was clear, so we could appreciate the water and scenery more. on another day, we took a boat trip around the bay, whihc was also cool, jumping of the secnd deck into the ocean in various bays, and chilling on sunbeds on the top deck too. Going out in the big bay again, we caught a bus north for 30 mins one day, to get a boat out to a tiny island with only a few people on. Was rteally cool, and at one point we ha d alittle beach all to ourselves. The historic area makes for a nice afternoons walk too, and so we took a stroll and got some cool snaps of that. Time to leave Paraty now however, and start and epic (but crap) 2 days of travel to get to where we want to be in Venezuela (dam i shouldnt have prebooked that flight)! Next stop Venezuela.
