Washington D.C!

After our 5 hour bus journey (which wasn't to bad at all!) we arrived at Washington D.C, Its a very political looking! Every thing is very neat and tidy! Its about 2 degrees warmer that NY , still bloody freezing then! We got here late Friday so just found the hostel ordered a takeaway and got into bed! Again not very rockstar!!!

Day 2 We Became nerds for the whole day, Everything in Washington is free. So we went for a massive walk and saw the white house , Lincoln memorial etc. Then went to some museums - Natural history, Air and Space and The Holocaust museum! Air and space was Rubbish only so many planes you can see! Natural history was really good , I got very excited about seeing the actual 'Hope diamond'. You know the one from titanic!!!!! The holocaust museum was amazingly incredible I'm such a Geek! We literally walked round in silence for 2 hours , I could have stayed in there all day it was so interesting!We then decided to be more sociable Travellers and signed up for the pub crawl the hostel offered, We made a Aussie friend! Again in true hardcore style we were tucked up in bed by 12!!! One thing that we have noticed is that Washington is full of wierdo's, there are crazy people walking around talking to themselves everywhere!!!.

Day 3 today we have been very lazy not left our hostel , just sorting out some dirty washing. And ditching the Thermals at last! We may venture out later to a little place called Georgetown. Not sure what's there really but I cant stay on my top bunk all day! We got an early flight tomorrow so I guess it will be a chilled night too!

Next Stop....MIAMI!!! Thank god for that, Sunshine at last!!
