After a few nights back in Airlee beach, which involved nothing but going out and getting drunk. We were off to Townville, which was our stop over point before we went out to Magnetic island! The night in Townsville was a well needed night off- DVD and a early night! The following day we were on a ferry heading over to Magnetic island! I never did find out why it was called Magnetic island!! It wasn't a island like Fraser it was a actual little town that people lived on, all very cute! Our hostel was right on the beach which was cool. The next day we hired our very own pink mini Barbie Jeep! It was really tiny, had a open top, 1 was pink the other blue! So much fun and lots of laughs were had! We spent the day driving around the island! We were all feeling like kids in our real life toy cars so a lot of very silly and cheesy photo's were taken! We stopped to see the beaches and national parks. We Feed some wild rock wallabies ( a cousin of the kangaroo but looks like a giant rat). We had bought food for a picnic so found a nice little bay to eat! Sat down on our picnic bench eating and right next to us was wedding!! We Sat and had our picnic , While watching some random peoples wedding! That's a new first for me!!! We had another quite night at the hostel that night! The next day we loaded up our tiny Jeeps with 3 people and 3 backpacks..Very tight squeeze!!! Dropped the car back then hopped back on the ferry to Townsville again! Next stop Mission Beach.....
