Brisbane - Noosa.
So after a long time away ( a week n a half) We meet back up with Kath! She was kindly putting us up for our stay in Brisbane! Best of All she lived in a actual house! We haven't stayed in a house for months and the excitement was a little to much to handle! Sofa's, T.V , A Bathroom and a pool! We were going to be living like kings for the next 2 weeks! We were all sleeping in Kath's room 6 people in one room, in the bed ,all over the floor -it was actually kinda cosy! So the novelty of a house really took over while we were in Brisbane. Lots of T.V and sofa time was had by all. We managed to watch season 1 and 2 of 'One tree Hill' ( Iam now addicted but have no way of getting my fix now we have left..Bad Times) As usual we spent most of our days basking in the sun at Southbank - A man made beach, as Brisbane is not on the coast! You guessed it.... the nights were spent out on the town! It was my birthday while in Brisbane, So went out the Saturday night so that i could be celebrating from midnight! We had a amazing night but some people got a little carried away! (ME) The problem with telling every random person you meet that its your birthday is they buy you a drink...What's the problem with that??? You get Extremely drunk! I believe there was some carrying home involved, passing out in a bush, Toilet hugging and being undressed and put to bed! Some might say i was a mess but i would say " hell yeah what a great start to your 23rd"!!The Sunday, my actually birthday!!! Lets say i was slightly hung over but the show had to go on.... I had Decided to have a Funky sunglasses theme to the day! Which was a god send as I was struggling with a banging head ache! We had a incredible Aussie BBQ.. The girls pulled out all the stops - Balloons, cake ,Champagne. It was a Prefect birthday! 3Pm We then headed out to a bar, were there was a festival going on We partied the night way until 11pm. Funky sunglasses and All! We did venture out one day while in Brisbane we hired a car and drove back down the coast to go Zorbing! Zorbing is basically you in a giant hamster ball, Chuck in some water then you get rolled down a hill! So they take you to the top Hose you down so your slippery, You then have to run and jump (like super man) into this little hole! They chuck some water in ...then your off! It doesn't last long, maybe ten seconds.. But my god it was the funniest 10 seconds of my life! I literally didn't stop laughing! We slipped around every where, fell on each other, got dizzy and Laughed hystericaly! It was one of my favourite things i have done so far! After zorbing we jumped back in the car and headed of to wet'n'wild! It was really hot so a perfect day for it! The slide's were really really good! Some where pretty scary. I have been to some lame water parks before but this one was amazing! It was quiet there so we didn't have to que and got to go back on our favourite slides again! We had just got a new waterproof camera, So we got very snap happy on the rides! And told off Alot for using it! So after 4 BBQ's , a One Tree Hill marathon, A Slumper pary, 2 birthdays and lots of sofa time it was time to leave Brisbane! As much as i have enjoyed Oz so far iam getting a bit bored of the Holiday lifestlye now! There is only so much sunbathing and partying one person can do! So iam really looking forward to getting back into travelling now! Give me Jungles, insects and bad food... Bring on some slumming it!!!
