After a pretty uninteresting stop over in Auckland. 8:15 the next day we were back on the Kiwi Bus heading to Mercury bay. The Kiwi bus isnt just a transport bus it stops off on route and takes you to places/Things to do. Which is we didn't realise but is really good as it takes you to places that you may not go if you were travelling on your own and there is also a big group of you. After lunch Stop we Stopped of at Hot water beach. Which is a beach above a hot water Spring, So you dig your self a hole in the sand and it feels up with Hot water. Some parts were too hot we burnt our feet, As we didn't have very long we only bathed our feet but some people had dug a massive hole and laid completely in it. After The beach we were back on the Bus. We stopped off at Cathedral cove, We walked down a cliff to the pebble beach and chilled out for a while. We got to our hostel in Mercury bay that evening Had dinner and played cards. All these activity's are tiring! I have never been so active! The next day we were up early again...6:30!! Next stop Rotorua.. On route we stop off at a old Gold mine, We trekked Through the Tunnels that were pitch black you literally could've see you hand in front of your face. Rosie and Sarah had their very sexy head torches on! We walked over massive rope bridges and up about a million Steps but it was good Fun! In our pictures for some reason it looks like the tunnels were light but trust me you couldn't see Anything! We then stopped off in Hobbiton for lunch and a Cheesy photo with a hand carver hobbit. We checked into our hostel and Then headed back out to go Lugeing! To Luge involves getting a Cable car to the top of mountain, Jumping in a tiny Go kart, with no wheels kinda thing and racing all the way down again ! Then get the chair lift back up! WOW possibly one of the funniest things that i have done in a long time. So so much Fun! Your actually go really fast and track is all bends and ramps! If it ever comes to England Do it!! That evening we cooked dinner, then sat with everyone in the hostel bar, Another early night Tucked up in bed my midnight!! You really cant to both..Active days and late nights don't mix! 3 o'clock in the morning we were rudely awoken by two boys in our room having an argument and almost a fight. So we ended up getting about 4 hours sleep. Getting up at 7 today was not easy. Next stop Waitomo...We spent most of the bus journey asleep, We did get off and go to a sheep Show.. Yes i said a sheep show. It was as lame as it sounds but i now know how to shear a sheep. Sarah was Picked to go up on stage to Milk a cow! It was worth the trip just to see that! We did plan to Zorb today , but the weather wasn't great and we were just to tired, So we are going to do it in OZ. Tonight is going to be another early night at the Hostel, Dinner and Bed! Tomorrow we are off to Taupo, We are going to be Sky Diving!!! God that came round Quick!!
