So Queenstown So Far!!!
On the way to Queenstown we stopped off for a big group photo! As Queenstown is were most people say goodbye, We had been travelling with our little group for about 3-4 weeks. After the photo we Checked into our hostel! We were the last in the Que at check in so as they didnt have any dorm rooms left, We were given a triple room, with Unsuite, T.v and Dvd, Fridge, kettle. It was like a hotel room! Sweet!! We were all hungry so we went over to FERGBURGER!! We had been told about this place but OH My God ...people didn't give it enough credit! They have the biggest Best, most delicious burgers I have ever taste in my life!! The burger was incredible but i really wish I had not taken that first bite. What a slippery slop, I now crave them and have had 5 of them ...In a week!! So enough about Fergburgers!! ( oh no all this talking now i want one) That night we went out to say goodbye to a few people! Big excuse for a party as it was " our last night together" We had another 3 of those night as more and more people leave but hey! So it was a very good but very messy night out! The next night we had a night off and had a DVD night, We all sat in our room and watched Films all night. Sunday we decided to hire a care and take a trip down to Milford sound. It was really nice to drive again , I forgot how much i liked driving. It was a good little road trip, New Zealand has the most beautiful scenery, the drive was amazing, we literally Ooo and Arh'd the whole way! At Milford sound, we went on a boat cruise round the lake! Again the sites are beautiful but almost don't look real. We drove back to queens town an 8 hour round trip but worth it! That night the plan was to go out for one drink but me and Sarah got a little carried away, dragged out Tom and Ollie! Strolled in at 4am!! Then sat on Facebook until 5am! Stupid idea! So Tuesday was the big day...Bungy jump day! 134 meter jump from a cable car, which hangs in between a Cannon..REALLY?? We were picked up at 10 and drove 45 minutes to the jump site, We got weighed and harnessed up,Then had to get a very Un safe looking cable car over to the pod. You jump in weight, so being that i was the lightest I had to wait to the very end! I was totally calm thou, hadn't been scared or nervous at all!I had been watching everyone jump , Everyone had been coming back up saying that it was amazing! It was Finally my turn to jump, As i walked to the ledge, The lady said "Don't look down" but what happens when someone says don't do something you do it! I looked down and it through me, I then couldn't get the image of the floor out of my head! I had to step back, only for 2 seconds, Then was then back on the ledge -3,2,1 I just jumped!!! The first few seconds its really scary as your brain freaks out that you are plummeting towards the ground. But then you just fell like you flying not falling! 2nd bounce you are supposed to pull a strap to undo your feet so that you flip up the right way, As its 134 meters back up to the pod! But i couldn't pull it, So ended up getting pulled back up, Upside down!! All can be seen on the Dvd !!Bungy jumping was the most amazing feeling ever, even better than skydiving you get much more of a adrenaline rush from it! As with the Sky dive I don't have the words to describe how it feels, Unless you have done it, No one can ever explain it to you! As it was St Patrick's day and I had just Bungy jumped ,that night yet again it was another excuse to party!!!! Because we loved our mini road trip so much today we have hired a car for tomorrow, We are going on a 4 day road trip then back to queens town!
