Road trip!......So We had ideas of a fun filled, Road trip, Unfortunately we were all struck down with the kiwi cold! So we were all feeling very Ill! So we collected our car, which I might add was a skip on wheels! We headed off for Dunedin..We had a 4 hour drive with a radio that barely worked! So with Rosie asleep in the back me and Sarah had some good old Ipody-oke! An ear each of the Ipod singing at the top of our voices! Poor sleeping Rosie! The drive down was really nice, literally every where you look in NZ is beautiful! We got to Dunedin pretty easily but when we got there we drove round and round for ages trying to find somewhere to park!We finally got to our hostel which was really nice, We walked around the town and did some food shopping. Dunedin is the university city So has really good student night life, but as we all had the Lurgy and were feeling rough we just cooked some dinner and played a 3 hour game of monopoly. The Next day as we were feeling a little sorry for our selves we decided to have a little retail therapy! We then went to Canbury's World for a tour of the factory and loads of free samples! Shopping and chocolate It was an amazing day! That night another quiet one, Dinner then Dvd! Before we left Dunedin we went to see some more of the sights there, The Train station, The world's Steepest street ( cooler than it sounds!). We then headed along the coast line to our next stop curio bay! We had no idea what was there we had just been told it was worth a visit! We got to Curio Bay, and there was nothing there literally 7 houses and a shop on the beach. We stayed in a tiny little beach house right slap bang on the beach. It was gorgeous! There was an older couple there but we barely saw them and they were in bed early, so we had our own little house to our self! We cooked dinner and has this place had No phone signal, No Radio, No T.v or internet, We just sat all night chatting! We joked it was like being in rehab, but it really was! It was so nice! The next morning we all woke up refreshed! We were sad to leave our little hideaway! We drove through so Cute little towns on the way back and stopped of for a picture at Mc crakens rest! ( the photos say it all), All that was left to do was the drive back, So in all it was a really lovely and relaxing road trip, Which we saw some beautiful sights and really enjoyed it! As fun as it was thou we have detoxed, Chilled and been in Rehab...... Lets undo all that! Back to Queenstown!!!!
