I don't think there is a song about an Francisco, Sorry! Anyway San Francisco it beautiful, its a mixture of new York with it's big buildings, A coastal place like Cornwall and has beautiful countryside. It has cute little Victorian house and lots of history. As much as I love south beach in Miami , if I was to move to America permanently I think it would be to San Fran! We arrived to our hostel at about 10:00 pm we checked in walked into our room and Sarah nearly had a heart attack as we were greeted with a big Alsation! OK, It was a service dog, but you are not aloud drinks or food in the room but you are aloud to tie your service dog to the bed!!REALLY???? And it did smell! So we asked to change rooms. The next room was not much better we were greeted with moody OAP's tucked up in bed, one old lady had an oxygen tank and a mask over here face! Seriously! Iam not lying she slept with a oxygen mask on! (i was a sleep above her in the bunk bed, i was scared to get up in the night just incase i knocked it over and killed her!! iam not even joking!!) So we quietly got our pj's on , made our beds in the dark and went to bed! In the light, the next day it was really clear how strange this hostel was , it was like a scene from "one flew over the cocko's nest" it was more of a mental asylum than a hostel! But any way never mind ( we had no were else to go) So the first day we took a tram tour of the city got to see all the sights. We drove over the Golden Gate bridge, which was OK but to me its just a bridge! But least I can say I have seen it! We mainly toured all day, We went got some lunch and had a little picnic in the park. That evening nothing exciting we bought food so I cooked dinner we were in bed by 10! Day 2 We Went to Alcatraz to take a tour of the prison .You have to get a 12 min boat over to it, as you got closer you really started to feel what an spooky place it is! We looked around the island then took an Audio tour , as you walk round the Cell blocks the voices on the recording are from some of the officers and the prisoners that were there! There were a few bits where your guided into a cell and on the tape you can here prisoners shouting and banging on the bars, or coughing and whispering! Actually a little scary but It really got you thinking. It was Amazing I loved every minute of it! I am now obsessed with Alcatraz and need to get some books on it! In the evening again Cooked dinner and went to bed! Only stayed there for 2 nights so not much more i can tell you on San Fran! As i'am typing now i'm on a 8 hour bus to Los Angeles. Still got another 4 hours to go and iam wedged between the window and man that weighs at least 30 stone! Iam feeling very violated!! Once we get to LA we are staying the night just to get some rest then getting another 9 hour bus to Las Vegas at 10am.

Whoopwhoop i love buses and not being able to move!! I keep telling myself "travelling is fun"
