So after yet another 6 hour bus we finally arrived in L.A, At 9pm at night in Pure Down town L.a! We had to walk four blocks to the bus stop! It was possibly one of the most scary 15 minutes of my life! Down town L.a is really not a nice place, homeless people everywhere and some really scary looking people,that look like they are hunting tourists! It was one of those times I wish I had been carrying Pepper spray of Something! Any way we made to the bus stop and onto the bus, Where we were kindly directed to our hostel by a lovely but terrible looking transvestite with black lipstick! But made it to the hostel safe and sound! We got chatting to some nice people at the hostel , in the party room, Yes out hostel had a party room in the basement!We Had a reasonably early night! The next day we had a boring day of doing washing etc. We went for lunch at the local farmers market in the afternoon! That the night the hostel was putting on a free dinner and a bar crawl , so we decided to join up! A shuttle took us to the sister hostel for dinner, after dinner The 3 of us drank a litre and half bottle of vodka and got extremely passionate/emotional that we hate men @ only 10pm! The shuttle then to us to a bar, Which was crap so we stayed for about 45 mins then stumbled back to the hostel! We Were kinda got kicked out of the hostel for being drunken disorderly, well it was go back out or to bed! So we Ended up at 'The Dime' a dingy little bar up the road . Were we meet a group of New York lads and stayed with them all night! I'm not going to announce publicly the embarrassing drunken antics of my friends but there were some!! The next day was a lazy day and evening we just cooked dinner and chilled! The following day we got the bus to Hollywood, which to me was a big disappointment it's is just like Orpington high-street with stars on the ground and the hand prints are really faded so you can barely read them. It was too cloudy to really see the Hollywood sign. We took a tour around the Stars homes and the famous places, like where parts of pretty women had been filmed , Rodeo Drive etc, That stuff was good to see. That evening there was another hostel run free dinner/free drink so we went to that, With Lauren and Katie, some lovely girls that we have meet. We meet some lads from Sheffield and a Guy called cooper who at the time seemed really nice, and drove us to the liquor store in his car...there is more to the cooper story later! We had totally forgot that Becky (from Vegas had worked in a hostel in west Hollywood) So how did we bump into at the orbit hostel ...yep Becky!A very awkward Hi was exchanged between us! Anyway we had another good night out, went back to our hostel and carried on partying in our party room. With the new people we had meet we all arranged to do a F#@* Valentines the next night!! During the night of talking to cooper he said offered to take us on a tour of Hollywood, actually drive us up to the sign etc. So we arranged to meet him the next day....never ones to turn down something free and he was staying in the same hostel!! So we meet up with him and his friend and we drove over to universal studios,It was here when we started to notice he was a little shall we say odd. So he went to talk to some girl and came back and said he knew someone that could get us into universal for $10, bargain lovers we are we gave him the money. Turns out we had to actually break in!!!!! This girl that worked in the city walk part took us through the back door of a shop, then we had to GOGOGO!!! through these security gates and blend in with the crowd ( just as they were leaving a show) Ok we managed it but god what a stupid idea that was! We did save $65! Universal was really good, nothing on Florida thou not that many rides! We did see the Desperate housewives Set! And in the Queue for the Jurassic park ride guess who we saw..........................Jordan!!!! Our camera battery had died so so we have now pictures from the this day.... gutted! After a whole day we had well and truly had enough of cooper! So decided to ditch him when we got back! That evening for our F#@* Valentines we went to Hooters for a drink then back to the party room!! We managed to lose cooper , well we just blanked him and he got the hump and found another group of 3 girls to prey on! Weird! We had looked at our internet banking the day before....We had WAY over spent! So decided to move our flight to New Zealand 1 week early! So after more chilling and boring stuff that I cant be bothered to write about. Monday was our last day. We went to the farmers market for dinner and paid $18 For a roast dinner but my god it was amazing , it had Vegetables!!! Which i believe are extinct in America, you can only find them in museums!! Uumm thinking about it now $18 for lunch could have something to do with why we have over spent!! Not quite in the travelling mind frame yet!! That evening we discovered that Cooper was a liar, His "friend" he told us was his best mate since he was 5 , turns out he meet him last week in a hostel, That cooper was a little crazy, stole money from some guy And ............. Opps that car was stolen! Note to self!....... Really need to be more careful in the future and not so trusting!! Not one of our proudest moments!

Next stop after a 13 hour flight, Crossing the date line and actually losing a day of my life... New Zealand!!
