So what can we say about Ottawa!
Well it was un unforgetable experience thats for sure!
On the way we got subjected to our first Canadian White Out... whats a White Out I here you say... well a white out is when Fog and Snow mix and create driving conditions where you can not see a metre in front of you. You can not stop as you can not see the side of the road, and you can not speed because you can not see the car in front.
The most unforgettable experience of my life as I couldn't see jack... I have never been so scared.
So we make it into Ottawa diverting numeous crashes, and find out you can not turn left in this city. So much so that we actually drove around it about 4 times before finding our hostel.
The Hostel was the redeeming feature about our soon to be favourite place (sarcasm is the lowest form of wit - or so I am told). It was an old jail and the rooms were old cells, it was pretty cool and stories about it being haunted just added to a great nights sleep.
We did walk the city as well, but in minus 35 degrees it was pretty hard to do anything.
The city is actually quite pretty but with few things to do apart from museams and well parliament buildings.
Our last story was a drunken inmate at 11pm until 5am starting coughing, shouting, and swearing iin his sleep - so much so that the cops were called in to remove him... Screaming in an old haunted jail... Hmmm thats another experience we will not forget.
All honesty Ottawa sucked...
