Another long drive today took us to the Botswana South Africa Border and to be honest I wouldn’t have written about this but for 2 reasons.
1) Fulham 3 Manchester United 0 – watched through the glory of Botswana TV.
2) The Lightning Storm at 1am - which meant Megan, had to stay in the tent to keep it from blowing away and yours truly was running around in his boxers trying to stop Danny’s tent flying away. Also stopping our tent from drowning in a lake of rainwater! Believe me it is an experience I will not forget soon. When I got back into the tent we were so nearly flooded that Megan and I had to put everything in the middle of the tent while we were dripping and hope and prey we didn’t freeze! Not a night little Miss Tidey will care to remember!
